Lone
Wolf Farms has begun a major remodeling of the interior and exterior of
our washplant complex. As soon as our shipping season ended we went through
our existing washline and did our seasonal maintenance.
All the equipment is checked for bearing wear and belt alignment. The
equipment is power washed and repainted as needed. We are painting the
inside of our packaging area and installing new lighting. We are also
finishing up
our USDA certification. Our focus will soon move to the farm. We will
be doing maintenance on tractors, trucks, and planting equipment.
Spring planting will begin as soon as the fields are dry enough to work
on. We are very concerned about the amount of snow cover we have. The
National Weather Service is predicting a 90% chance of major flooding
in
the cities along the Red River. We are 10 miles west of the river, but
we do have some problems with spring snow melt, if the weather warms up
too fast!
Watch for seasonal email updates to our website!
